POWER SHARING AND DEMAND CONTROL PANEL

MELTING FURNACE INDUSTRY…

Power sharing control panel is used to maintain the allotted actual power demand of plant from supply line.

If actual KVA tends to exceed the sanctioned KVA, it reduce the power of induction furnace. By using this, maximum sanctioned KVA can be utilized, which optimizes the overall load factor of the plant

When more than one furnaces are in operation on a single grid, it can work still more effectively by sharing the total available power

Power to the furnace can be shared through priority selection switches wherein one furnace can be provided full power while other runs at reduced power

Overall productivity of plant will increase because of optimum use of available power.

No human intervention is required for monitoring and controlling furnace load

ALUMINIUM FURNACE and GRANITE INDUSTRY

  • Furnace load not more than allotted TNEB Power capacity
  • Maximum demand is monitored continuously and control furnace power or feeder line by tripping, when demand exceeds the set limit
  • Method 1 is control the furnace power one by one and Furnace temperature will not affect, that time can adjust by customer
  • Method 2 is check the furnace temperature, which furnace is high temperature control that one
  • Data logger every 5 or 15 minutes
